Dr. Dolittle next Kids’ Classic at Dreamland Theater

Dr. Dolittle next Kids’ Classic at Dreamland Theater

The Dreamland Theater brought to you by Sagadahoc Preservation at its Winter Street Center is proud to announce the fourth in its new film series, “Kids’ Classics.”  Designed for children and tweens, the films will be presented on the second Sunday of each month, October through May.

The 1967 classic, Dr. Doolittle will be screened on January 9 at 2pm. December’s Kids’ Classic is sponsored by Little Bambino’s on Centre Street in Bath.

Doctor Dolittle (played by Rex Harrison) is a world-renowned veterinarian who speaks a wide array of animal languages. He sets off from his home in Puddleby-on-the-Marsh, England, in search of the Great Pink Sea Snail. In so doing, he and his friends meet such exotic creatures as the Pushme-Pullyu and the Giant Moon Moth. This musical is the source of the hit song, "If I Could Talk To The Animals." (imbd.com)
