Coastal Humane Society gets influx of cats and dogs
BRUNSWICK, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- If you've been thinking about adopting a dog or cat, this may be a good time to take the plunge.
The Coastal Humane Society is spreading the word that it has dozens of cats and dogs, including 50 kittens and about 25 puppies, that will be ready for adoption starting next week.
Some of them are from Mainers who aren't able to care for their animals, but most have come from out of state.
The shelter says the animals all go through an extensive health screening and are vaccinated for several diseases. All they need is a loving home.
Prices for the animals range from $0-350 dollars. Some will be available this Sunday. Others will be later next week.
